Momme Privacy Policy
At Momme, we take your privacy and data security extremely seriously. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how Momme LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (“Company” or “Momme”), collects, uses, protects, and shares your personal information when you use our mobile app, MOMME (the “App”), and when you share personal information with us through the App.
We know that trust is essential, and your privacy is one of our top priorities. We are fully committed to safeguarding your data and ensuring that it is used responsibly. This Policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect the personal information you provide when interacting with our services, and it also details the choices you have regarding your data. Through the App, we offer wellness content for new mothers, help postpartum moms track their health and emotions, and enable communication between mothers (“Services”). By using the Service and accessing the App, you agree to the terms laid out in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our practices, please refrain from using the Service.
This Policy applies to all users of the App, whether they are Customers or Non-Customers. A “Customer” refers to a user with a commercial relationship with Momme. Non-Customers may also download the App but may not have access to all features unless they become Customers.
We collect, retain, and process user data from both Customers and Non-Customers. User data may include personally identifiable information and other details, as explained in this Policy.
What We Collect & How We Use It
We understand that your personal information is important, and we are committed to using only what is necessary to provide you with the best possible experience. We want to assure you that protecting your data is our priority. We gather data in the most minimal way possible while ensuring you can fully enjoy the services we offer.
Here’s how we collect information and why it matters:
1. Information You Provide:
We collect personal information to help identify you, such as your name, email address, phone number, and general location. We may also collect health-related information, such as details about your postpartum health and emotional wellbeing, as well as your photo. Additionally, we may ask for specific health-related data (e.g., if you’re experiencing excessive bleeding, shortness of breath, or fever).
We assume that users of the Momme App are either pregnant or have been pregnant within the last 12 months, which helps us offer personalized content and services.
Your privacy is our responsibility, and we take great care to ensure your sensitive health information is protected. If you do not agree with our collection of health data, we kindly ask that you do not use the App.
Health information is considered sensitive information in some areas of the United States. We have more information for the rights of certain state residents later in this Policy but we want to make sure you’re aware of this collection.
2. Information Automatically Collected:
When you visit or use our App, we automatically collect certain details about your device and usage patterns, such as your IP address, device type, browser information, and how you interact with the App. This helps us understand how to improve our services and make your experience better. For example, we might track whether you’ve opened an email from us to help us improve our communication with you.
Rest assured, we use this information responsibly, and we never share it with third parties unless absolutely necessary for improving the App.
3. Information from Third Parties:
If you choose to register through a social media account, we may receive basic information about you, like your name and email address, to streamline the sign-up process and provide you with a smoother experience.
Your trust is invaluable to us, and we promise to treat your data with the utmost care and respect. We continually monitor and update our data protection practices to ensure your personal information remains safe and secure.
Use and Sharing Personal Information
We collect your information to provide the Services to you. We also, as mentioned above, use your automatically collected information to analyze and improve our App and Services.

If you ever wish to opt out of communications from us regarding customer support, you can do so by emailing us at support@gomomme.com.

With Third Parties in Aggregated or Anonymized Form – We may share anonymized or aggregated data (which does not personally identify you) with third parties for research purposes or as part of providing our Services. This includes data that removes personally identifying characteristics such as names or addresses.

We implement strong security measures to protect your personal information, including:
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) – Required for accessing certain features of the app to enhance account security.
Data Encryption – Personal information is encrypted during transmission and while stored on our servers to prevent unauthorized access.

However, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information or other information you may transmit to our App; any transmission is at your own risk.
Once we have received your information, Momme maintains strict administrative, technical, and physical procedures to protect information from unauthorized access via our servers. Access to information is limited to employees who require it to perform their job functions. We use industry-standard technology, including but not limited to data encryption and physical access controls, to safeguard the information we collect from you.
